Colibrí — the Hummingbird
A spiral staircase, two upstairs bedrooms, and a wide window where the forest comes in. The jacuzzi opens directly to the trees and the sound of the river below.
Two private cabins at the foot of the Tenorio hills. Where the forest has its own calm and the days move at their own pace.
Where the river writes its own silence, and the mountain answers the same way.
Three kilometers south of Liceo Katira in Guatuso, Río Brazo was born from the desire to show another side of this corner of Costa Rica: its hidden waters, its worked land, and the heritage of a town that always knew how to live well with little.
Colibrí and Morpho cabins are for those who want both: unfiltered nature and the comfort of a well-designed home. A jacuzzi that opens toward the mountain. A kitchen ready for a slow morning. Silence that arrives without having to earn it.
Colibrí and Morpho share the same calm and the same care. Two private homes, each with its own balcony, jacuzzi, and forest view.
A spiral staircase, two upstairs bedrooms, and a wide window where the forest comes in. The jacuzzi opens directly to the trees and the sound of the river below.
The same structure, a different light. Morpho sits deeper among the trees. Its mornings arrive slowly, its afternoons last longer, and its balcony is the kind you do not want to leave.
From May to September, we open seasonal rates for guests who want to enjoy Guatuso with more calm, more rain, more forest, and a better price.
The strongest seasonal discount for travelers who want to stay longer and enjoy the forest slowly.
A softer discount for the last months of green season, ideal for couples, families, and small groups.
Tours we organize with trusted local guides. Once you book your cabin, ask us. We will explain the options and details.
A morning walk through the fields with the people who work them. Tastings, a bit of history, and fresh juice at the end.
A guided walk through nearby trails, with a tasting of artisanal cacao made by local hands.
Down Río Celeste, on a slow and peaceful route. Fresh water, the canopy above, and an hour and a half of calm.
A place you return to. We slept with the river outside and woke up not knowing what day it was. Everything was thoughtfully designed, nothing felt forced.
Reservations are confirmed by WhatsApp. A short message, a few questions about your dates, and we will hold the cabin for you. If you stay three nights or more, we discount fifty dollars for each additional night.
